Position Title: Content Analyst

Project Summary and Position Overview:                                                                                               
Group Overview: Applications are invited for the position of Analyst, Corporate Actions based in the Data Operations team in Bangalore, India.  The position is offered on local terms and will require working in shifts (including night shifts).  The position will report to the Team Leader, Corporate Actions.                                                                                                                                                                                                   The Data Operations team in Bangalore is responsible for the collection and maintenance of high quality data across a wide range of financial markets and asset classes.  Its mission is to deliver differentiated and significantly improved data and service to make our products indispensable in the markets targeted by the segments, while improving cost effectiveness.                                                                                  
                                                                                               
                                                                                               
Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:                                                                                            
• Analyse Financial News to source Corporate Actions, upload onto Thomson Reuters financial products in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintain the database with timely updates to existing data.
• Perform Quality Checks to ensure the accuracy of the database
• Initiate new methods of working and ways to improve data and service provided to clients
• Understand Thomson Reuters products to provide a higher degree of service and better data to the client
• Build relations with our suppliers to ensure optimal service delivery to our end-users
• Ensure that the relevant database administration procedures are maintained and adhered to and that all processes are documented
• Provide prompt and effective response to customer needs and take ownership of the resolution process for all customer related issues"                                        
                                                                               
                                                                               
                               
                                                               
                                                               
Required Skills
                                                               
"• Professional Qualifications –  Bachelors Degree in Commerce, Business Management or a related Analytical field
• Ability to work in a time sensitive environment with a keen eye for detail
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Financial Markets and their operations
• Excellent Written and Oral Communication skills
• Ability to work within a team and to build interpersonal relationships
• Ability to internalize processes and data quickly
• Working knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel
• Should be Customer Oriented

Salary Offered: Rs 1.77 Lakhs Per Annum.
